History

When The Infernus was first conceived, it was composed of five distinct and formidable layers: Ignius, Shardar, Tremor, Drezeaz, and Voleshka. Each layer was crafted with a unique and intense environment, making The Infernus a plane of unparalleled dread and suffering.   As time passed, the need for additional realms became evident to better serve the growing complexities of the world. In response, the celestial powers Luthos and Mistrim took on the monumental task of expanding The Infernus. They undertook a grand and intricate process of creation, carefully designing three new layers: Ethropa, Mazikarus, and Goll. This expansion involved weaving new realms of torment and desolation into the fabric of The Infernus, ensuring that each new layer was integrated seamlessly with the existing ones.   The creation of these new layers required immense effort and precision, balancing the intense nature of the original realms with the newly added dimensions. Luthos and Mistrim meticulously shaped each new layer to be as formidable and inhospitable as the existing ones, maintaining the plane’s reputation for its unrelenting and equal intensity across all layers.   With the addition of Ethropa,Mazikarus and Goll, The Infernus was further solidified as a plane of unending torment, where every layer—old and new alike—contributed equally to its fearsome and dread-filled nature.   The final layer of The Infernus, known as Tayrania, became the domain of Caeus, the god of Tyranny. However, Tayrania soon transformed into Caeus’s eternal prison. Under his iron-fisted rule, the layer stands as both a realm of unyielding tyranny and a testament to Caeus’s enduring power and control. now established as the lowest ring of The Infernus, Caerus overthrew the former ruler, Demon Lord Valkoth, who remained shrouded in mystery. Despite claiming dominion over the entire plane, Caerus chose not to adopt the title of "Demon Lord." Instead, he entrusted this mantle to his second-in-command, Geareg the Butcher.
