Ishgala, Goddess of Life

(a.k.a. Mother of Gods)

Ishgala is a creation of the Elemental Beings known as The Light and The Darkness. She is often depicted as being the sister of the deceased Balashmir, the guardian of the planes, and is the wife of Arnu, the god of magic.
Although not responsible for the creation of the universe itself or Caltora, she is often described as the mother of all creation.

She is the goddess of fertility, specifically the fertility of humanoids, which she shares with her daughter Themna, the goddess of love, as well as being the goddess of family and healing.
She is the patron of children, expecting parent and healers.
While people pray to Themna for a successful conception, the people praying to her often wish for a successful birth.
