Gimrid, God of Craft
Gimrid was the son of Arnu (God of Magic) and Ishgala (Goddess of Life). He was the husband of Jarla (Goddess of Luck).
He was the patron of the race of dwarves and of all things crafted, before he died in the aftermath of the second war of the gods.
Stricken with grief, at the death of his wife, he build a grand tomb in honor of his beloved wife. The construction lasted exactly one hundred days, in which the god of craft didn't sleep, eat or even paused. He built the finest piece of craftsmanship ever conceived and on the final day, he placed the body of his wife into the sarcophagus, before collapsing on the stairs, leading up to it.
Together with his wife Jarla, he was the creator, patron and father of all Dwarves (DnD: Dwarves, Gnomes, Halflings).
