Wizardry in Berinen

An interesting quirk about magic in Berinen is that in Human society there tends to be more sorcerers than the average across Dwarves and Elves. Wizardry is generally only available to the wealthy and educated in The Kingdom of Arlund, who can access the teachings and books required to learn and write spells.   The result is that commoners who display magic do not have the means to learn to control or harness their gifts and thus a high sorcerer population.   Dwarves, Elves and Orcs are much more accommodating in this regard and any youths that show magical promise tend to be educated in the art of spellcraft no matter their social standing.
