A time of relative peace has settled over the land of Berinen. After the Dwarves moved en masse to a new underground home, Orcs invaded the vacant mountain to claim a new citadel for the tribe. Humans, meanwhile, continue to play their political games from CityName, the capital of The Kingdom of Arlund, including a burgeoning relationship with the Elves, as they show signs of emerging from their reclusion in Mistwoods of Doranel.
It's been over a thousand years since The Cleansing and defeat of Ralnor Mosswhisper. Yet murmurings are beginning to spread of a return of The Scourge, a blight that poisons and corrupts all it touches.
Surely these rumours can't be true...
