Mercenary Camp
The Mercenary Camp is a newly developing, impermanent settlement on Desolai Island. It's primarily occupied by people on the island in search of Samryn's riches, many of whom being incredibly dangerous. The people occupying this camp change on a near-daily basis, with some people giving up and leaving and others hoping they'll be the lucky ones who find unimaginable wealth. The Mercenary Camp has come into conflict with the Forestfolk on several occasions, and many of its occupants have been taken out in the middle of the night.
