The Dark Illumined Eye is an ancient text believed by the followers of Jalos Zealotry to contain not only all the rites, rituals, and necessary steps to initiate the Last Journey Home, but pretty much all other divine wisdom one could desire, which is handy.
The tome is lost to the Galó of Jalóheim, said to have been taken to Orphan Heights during Settler's Skirmish when first they met, and nobody from Jalóheim is likely to ever get through the gates of Orphan anytime soon. Some idiot would have to let them in, and nobody's that stupid.
