Although the Galó of Jalóheim occasionally carry these rather rubbish little knives, few actually bother. The Serkers generally opt for (slightly) better-crafted swords, and better tools exist within their village for more specific uses. These are most commonly carried by girls as a general tool and for defense, if ever needed.
The Expanse can be a rather rough place.
Most famously, one such was carried by Hana Sóholdt on her journey to Orphan Heights, used to threaten Alvin Esker and almost used to kill a number of people Hana Sóholdt assumed the world would be better off without.
