Yanna, God of Messages and Wisdom
Yanna, the general of the Immortal Kitsune that enforces Divine constraints, serves as the primary mediator and messenger between the Gods. Her role is not merely that of a courier, but a diplomat with the authority to represent the Divine Parley itself. As a being forged directly from the will of Darux, she embodies both the strictness of divine law and the adaptability needed to navigate the intricate dynamics of divine politics. Should a God overstep their bounds or breach the Parley's rules, Yanna is the first to arrive—either to mediate peacefully or to summon the wrath of her Kitsune warriors.
Beyond enforcement, Yanna also serves as a neutral party alongside Zyvrun through whom Gods communicate grievances, requests, or alliances. While Yanna is a figure of respect and authority, she is also a subject of intrigue. Some Gods question her loyalty, wondering if her devotion to the Parley is truly genuine. Despite this skepticism, Yanna’s influence is undeniable, and her presence alone can quell tempers that would otherwise burn planes to ashes. Her existence acts as a reminder of the consequences of unchecked divine power and the fragile equilibrium that binds the Auroraverse’s Gods together.
Followers: Most of Yanna's followers are the Kitsune of the Auroraverse, both Immortal and Mortal. The Immortal Kitsune serve as her soldiers, enforcing the peace and upholding the Divine Parlay. Meanwhile, the Mortal Kitsune, freed by Yanna from their original purpose, are allowed to live their lives as they wish. Otherwise, followers of Yanna are often individuals who seek out the wisdom and peaceful benevolence of the Divine.
Church: On the surface, Churches of Yanna is no different from any other church, but a more subtle feature is the fact that these churches are considered a Divine neutral ground where no particular God's rules apply.
Understanding: Enforcement of the laws requires a proper understanding of both the laws and those you wish to impose them on.
Justice: Uphold justice, do not allow your duty to prevent you from doing what is right.
Origin
Yanna's origin is an anomaly—unlike most Gods who form from mortal worship, Yanna was not formed but born. After the formation of the Divine Parlay, Darux was tasked with preventing Divine conflicts from escalating to catastrophic levels of Godly involvement. Irritated by the responsibility and potential need for activity, Darux sought a way to avoid direct involvement. His solution, create a new God and Immortal race to handle the job for him. From the very stars themselves, Darux created Yanna, at the time but a Conceptual God, and her clan of Kitsune soldiers. Before returning to count his coin in Exile, Darux charged them with maintaining peace among the Gods and enforcing the laws of the Divine Parlay in his stead. Over the millennia, as Yanna served as the mediator for the Gods and the face of messages to mortals, her power grew. Eventually, her people and she transcended their original status as creations of a lazy God, becoming a unique and independent Titled God.Followers and Church
