Carcon, God of Conquest
The yang to Berilor's yin, Carcon is worshipped and prayed to by those standing amidst the chaos of battle, where honor is forgotten, and survival becomes the only goal. To Carcon, conflict is not just inevitable—it is a vital, relentless force that separates the strong from the weak. He believes warriors must be ever-prepared to pick up their arms, not just to defend what is theirs but to seize what could be. Those who worship Carcon understand that peace is temporary, a fragile illusion before the next inevitable clash.
Carcon has nothing but disdain for those who claim that war is unnecessary or can be avoided through words alone. To him, such notions are the delusions of the weak, cowards hiding behind hollow ideals of peace. He sees them as cowards, destined to lose everything the moment they are forced to face true combat. In Carcon’s eyes, only those willing to embrace conflict and accept the harsh realities of war have the strength to survive and protect what is theirs. The rest are nothing but victims waiting for the inevitable.
Followers: Worship of Carcon revolves around the raw, brutal aspects of warfare—the blood, the grit, and the ruthless fight for survival. While warriors may honor Berilor away from the battlefield, it is in the heart of chaos, when death is a breath away, that they pray to Carcon. His most devoted followers embrace violence in all forms, believing that to abandon it is to grow weak and invite defeat.
Church: Temples to Carcon are adorned with the trophies of its members, the metallic smell of dried blood, and training grounds to prepare for the next war.
Survival of the Fittest: Only the strongest have the right to live and protect what matters to them; weaklings must be culled lest they endanger the flock.
Sow Destruction: Do not allow your enemies to grow strong so they may attack you, salt their fields, raze their villages, and leave nothing to be rebuilt.
Origin
Birthed from the bloody remains of the first mortal war, Carcon is a God forged in slaughter with an insatiable appetite to fight. His existence is a testament to the inevitability of violence—so long as blood is shed, Carcon endures. Even his defeat at the hands of Lumair after the first mortal war did not break him; it only solidified his purpose. Carcon's rivalry with his brother Berilor is a cyclical, relentless struggle—an endless clash that echoes throughout history. While Berilor and Carcon’s followers romanticize these wars as unique, decisive moments pushing towards a final victory, the grim truth is that each battle is just like the last—a repetition of Carcon and Berilor's ideologies clashing. Where others see tragedy, Carcon sees validation, for as long as mortals wage war, his purpose remains unbroken.Followers and Church

Champions
Over the course of his existence, Carcon has had more champions than any other God and will choose them from his most violent of followers. Carcon’s champions are about quantity over quality with another champion taking the place of a fallen one almost immediately.Tenants

Relationships
- Darux: There was a time when Carcon desired to bring his war to the birthplace of new Gods, Bakdeos, but Darux stood in his way. Because of this, Carcon holds a deep grudge towards the God of Death.
- Berilor: To Carcon Berilor is an insult to everything he loves about war, both are Gods of war but neither can benefit fully from the worship of battle while the other exists. Carcon sees Berlior as a cowardly baby who’d rather comfort a widow than fight and bleed among his men, and Berilor sees Carcon as a blood-crazed lunatic who’s just looking for any reason to fight
- Shuzi: Shuzi’s chaos always brings with it war and conflict as the God of Liars upends the current order and wreaks havoc.
- Lumair, Aedis, & Hacina: All these Gods strive to protect the weak, which Carcon finds disgusting, believing that the weak are not deserving of aid.
