They are a playful and charismatic deity, often radiating a warmth that draws mortals and immortals alike into their orbit. Ceri is a romantic at heart, reveling in the thrill of connection, the spark of infatuation, and the enduring flame of true devotion. However, their domain extends beyond gentle affection. When love turns possessive, obsessive, or dangerous, Ceri is just as present, embodying the sharp, thorny side of devotion.
Ceri loves to meddle in romantic affairs, often placing wagers with their champions on who will be the next great love story or star-crossed tragedy. Despite their playful and flirtatious demeanor, Ceri fiercely guards the bonds they cherish—those who seek to break love apart may find themselves facing a wrath they never expected.

Origin
Ceri's first appearance was during the grand wedding of Glamara and Maluzu. Before that day, highly intelligent mortals had not appeared, and as such, love in the Auroraverse had been a raw, primal force—little more than a carnal urge to propagate among animals. It was untamed and unrefined, lacking the depth and nuance that true, devoted affection could hold. By the time Ceri formed, a woosh of warmth and vulnerability pushed down by powerful wings, love had begun to evolve as mortal culture did. Taking the mantle as the officiator of that fated union, Ceri spoke words that had never been uttered before, binding two gods not just by desire and convenience but by devotion. In that moment, love was redefined as something that could transcend the boundaries of the flesh, blossoming into a force of connection, intimacy, and trust. The vows exchanged under Ceri’s watchful eyes set a precedent for all unions to follow — a complex, imperfect, yet beautiful promise shared between souls.Followers and Church

Champions
Champions of Ceri strive to keep the world in harmony and make sure that everyone is treated as an equal. They usually prefer not to resort to violence but will if they must. Champions of Ceri will sometimes gossip with the God themself. They are incredibly calm and lax and have an incredible tongue, always seeming to get others onto their side. Ceri’s most notable champion was Jam, the lute of love. Jam was an Aasimar College of Glamour bard and was the only champion to ever beat Ceri in one of their bets of who the next big couple would be. This has always stuck with Ceri and will never leave their mind on how he was bested. Despite this, Ceri cares for all of their champions, including Jam.Tenants
