Maluzu, God of Secrets

While Glamara embodies order, Maluzu embodies what order seeks to control—the unknown, the unseen, the whispers that linger in the shadows. Legends say that Maluzu knows every secret ever whispered, every truth buried beneath lies, and every mystery left unsolved. Their power lies not in brute strength but in the mastery of hidden knowledge, wielded with a subtlety that even the Gods struggle to grasp. Despite this, like their wife, they’re worshipped by a (relatively) low number of mortals.   Maluzu often describes themself with a paradoxical humility, claiming to be "slightly stronger than a rat but slightly weaker than Darux." Mortals mistake this for weakness, seeing Maluzu as a forgotten deity whose power has withered with time. However, the Gods know that Maluzu's strength is a labyrinth of enigmas known only to themself—an incalculable force capable of unraveling destinies with a single whispered revelation. Some say that to know Maluzu's true power is to lose oneself in a sea of truths too vast to comprehend.

Origin

Indisputably the most knowledgeable of the Gods, Maluzu emerged from the void just moments before Glamara, God of Fate—a whisper in the darkness before the first light. Their early years are, unsurprisingly, shrouded in secrecy, with the only known fact being that they aided Glamara in protecting the cosmic order. During this time, Maluzu fell in love with the God of Fate, and the two were wed by the God of Love. However, following their union, Maluzu gradually drifted deeper into the unknown, their presence becoming more elusive and their true intentions obscured by the mysteries they embody.

Followers and Church

Typical Alignment: True Neutral

Followers: Followers of Maluzu are few and far between, and while many pray to Maluzu when they need to find something lost, few dedicate themselves to their worship. Cults devoted to Maluzu fiercely guard their secrets, and their initiates refrain from drawing attention to themselves. The few followers of Maluzu travel the world in secret, searching for hidden truths.

Church: The churches of Maluzu are practically lost to history due to the decline in their worship. Though it is rumored that there still remains one church of Maluzu that is said to be a labyrinth of a library that contains all of their secrets.

Champions

There has never been a Champion of Maluzu, but if there was one, it’s said they’d gain the capability to go beyond mortal limits and cast magic forbidden to all but the Gods.

Tenants

Dutiful Librarian: The only known tenant is to be a keeper of secrets. They ask that no secret is to be given before it is necessary. At first, this might seem like an easy task to others, yet they mean all secrets are to be held. Even those that could possibly endanger others if they are not told. This is why followers of Maluzu can be seen as detached from others.

???: Other tenants did exist for the followers of Maluzu, but due to the God's decline in popularity, they have largely been lost

Relationships

Maluzu sees themself as being responsible for all the Gods and acts like a grandfather who would take responsibility for them and guide them down the correct path. As such, to remain unbiased, they try to avoid interaction.
