Brechi, God of Festivities
The self-proclaimed "God of the Party," Brechi, is the living embodiment of wild, unrestrained celebration. A hedonistic force of nature, he thrives in the chaos of roaring laughter, clinking cups, and reckless abandon. To be in Brechi's presence is to be swept into a fever dream of festivities, where music never stops, the drinks never run dry, and consequence is just a hazy memory that can be dealt with in the hungover morning.
Brechi doesn't just attend parties; he is the party. Wherever there is revelry, wherever there is a gathering of people willing to cast aside their inhibitions, Brechi is there—a sly grin on his face, a drink in each hand, and a glimmer in his eyes that promises mischief and mayhem. His energy is infectious, capable of dragging even the most reserved and studious souls into a night they'll never forget (or at best barely remember).
His followers are a reflection of his spirit: rogues, bards, thrill-seekers, and misfits who live for the moment and refuse to bow to the dull monotony of structure. To pray to Brechi is to pray for freedom, for a break from the chains of responsibility, for a night where nothing else matters but the thrill of being alive. Some see him as a symbol of liberation, a god who shows that life is fleeting and should be lived fully. Others see him as a chaotic influence, a dangerous tempter who leaves ruin in his wake. Either way, they cannot deny the magnetism of the god who turns every moment into a celebration. Brechi is not just a party animal — he is the untamed, ecstatic pulse of life's wildest nights.
Followers: The followers of Brechi are often quite eccentric to the point of being dangerous, carrying drama and flair whenever they go. Oftentimes, these actions are used as a distraction to hide their true schemes. His followers are more than likely those creators of the arts and those who are always ready for a party. Regardless, followers of Brechi pursue first and foremost whatever it is they desire, even if that means they must put down others.
Church: The church of Brechi does not follow the conventional architecture that one would think. The more religious versions are a large feast hall where, when looking for visions, the priests will host a grand party to hope for a vision amongst the chaos. Whilst some smaller communities will have an outdoor theater area for their ‘temple’.
A Host’s Duties: Brechi has made it clear to his followers that the host of the party must be the last one to crash. Whether this is in battle or during a festival, followers of Brechi are always the last ones to stop.
Do as You Wish: Only the boring and drab allow their desires to be limited by the opinions of others.
Origin
Before ascending to godhood, Brechi was a mischievous and charismatic Archfey whose very essence was tied to revelry, indulgence, and a tongue as silver as it was sharp. His celebrations were legendary—chaotic, intoxicating affairs that blurred the line between ecstasy and excess. What began as gatherings of mortals and fae eventually drew the attention of the divine, and Brechi knew an opportunity when he saw it. At one particularly raucous, wine-soaked affair, Brechi managed to lure some young, naive Gods into the fray. With laughter as his weapon and drink as his shield, he carefully unraveled their defenses, peeling back the layers of their divinity until they were as reckless as any drunken mortal. By the night's end, amidst a haze of spilled mead and shattered goblets, the Gods, caught up in his infectious charm, gifted him some of their worshippers as party favors. What began as a jest became a pattern; over centuries, Brechi's influence grew with every party, every whispered promise over a shared drink. Millennia later, Brechi stands not just as some Archfey, but as the God of Festivities—a divine trickster whose followers raise their cups to a God who taught even the highest of beings to loosen their grip and indulge.Followers and Church
