Aeldurin culture centered on their great cities and centers for magical and natural learning, exploration of the world of Aurus, and the expansion of elven influence.

History

The Aeldurin emerged from The Accord of Aleth as one of the better off races, they had suffered more under the chaos of the elementals than many others since they were lovers of civilization and constructors of communities. After, they were the first to begin the building of great cities and cultures. For many generations they led the curve for developing and progress. Things began to shift with the War of Destinies. Many Aeldurin blamed the drow for the devestation of the godswar. Some felt the fault was in supporting Kahren Derosa so blindly, and other felt that the fault was the drow themselves, being lesser elves had been unfit to prosecute the war.
At the same time, a rift began to grow among the Aeldurin regarding how they viewed their relationships with other non-elven races and the larger world in general. As these factions became more and more partisan and extreme in their views they began to break apart as a culture and to segregate into groups based on these views. Over time, these divisions became permanent and today the Aeldurin exist as the three separate races of the Aelsol (Sun Elves), Seldurin (Moon Elves), and the Elbrindle.
