Kyria Braeda
Lyivyr Kyria Braeda (née Tirvasri) (a.k.a. Dominus)
“Don’t be fooled by his attractive, charming exterior. So much more lies beneath that tempting smile and that flirtatious behaviour - so much, that you may find yourself dead in a ditch if you double-cross him.” - Valdiane, 1889 F.

Personal history
Kyria was born to Velphi and Shydo Tirvasri in Korvine in 1860 F. Kyria never met his father, as he died before he was born. Velphi raised Kyria alone in Korvine whilst working for the local mafia group, The Untamed. The city was rife with abuse and crime during this time due to the presence of multiple mafia groups and Kyria rarely went outside due to this, except to see his aunt, Akas. Kyria received his education mainly from Akas and Velphi, with little contact with anyone from the outside.
However, when Kyria was six, Velphi was murdered on a job. The Untamed stated that it was due to a deal that had gone wrong and offered support to Akas and Kyria due to this. Akas accepted the support and her and Kyria moved into the centre of the city. Kyria was then introduced to many connections within The Untamed and was raised around them and their education. Akas obtained a job as a ledger clerk for The Untamed.
Kyria always thought the information surrounding his mother's death was suspect, however did not have the power to find out what happened to her. So, when he turned sixteen, he obtained a job within The Untamed as a prostitute due to his ability to charm others. Through this, he managed to obtain a number of powerful contacts and good reputations through a lot of them.
When he was eighteen, he met Kasimir Braeda who was a mercenary in The Untamed. At first, he was assigned as Kyria's bodyguard due to his growing popularity and the two didn't talk further than what was required of them. However, after a client cancelled on Kyria one night, Kyria asked to be escorted to a restaurant that Kasimir recommended. Kasimir ended up taking him to a local restaurant which specialises in Thaycian food.
The two started talking and eventually found themselves enjoying each others company, frequently visiting the restaurant when Kyria had a cancellation or after their shifts had finished. They started to become romantically interested in each other, eventually Kyria prompting Kasimir if he wanted to fulfil the 'escort's duty'. Kasimir ended up rejecting him, only because he wanted interested in just sex from him, but a relationship as well. This shocked Kyria, but he ended up agreeing. Kyria still kept his job as a prostitute, which Kasimir respected but was concerned for him as he knew the type of people he had to sleep with.
Eventually, Kyria received a client called Daekis Renio, whom he recognised from when he was younger - he worked with his mother and was the leader of The Untamed. He was sure he knew what happened to his mother. He tried to charm him in, using his talents as a prostitute to gain his trust and eventually entangle him so much he would confess. However, Daekis caught onto this and instead decided to punish Kyria severely. He beat him whilst using him as a prostitute, to the point he gave Kyria a severe head injury and he fell unconscious.
He awoke to Kasimir trying to get help, after Daekis had finished with him. Kyria’s head was bleeding severely, he had a number of wounds on him and was barely conscious. Desperate, Kasimir took him to The Eden Centre where Eljeon treated him back to health. When he finally regained consciousness, he was blind in one eye.
Kasimir was so distraught over what happened to him and confessed to him that he wished that he'd booked him out that night instead. Kyria is clearly still processing the events, but he was clearly angry and focused on getting revenge. Kasimir asked that he focused on recovering, but Kyria rejected it - asking to make a meeting with Daekis as soon as possible with the promise of more time with him.
Kasimir was clearly worried about it but Kyria did not take no for an answer. His time with Daekis may not have bore fruit on what happened to his mother, but it certainly gave him information on the ins and outs of The Untamed. He could use this to his advantage. He ended up charming Daekis into believing he enjoyed himself and wants a repeat - and he starts having sex with him again. Mid-way through, Kyria draws a knife on him (which Kasimir hid for him whilst escorting him in) and tells him that his mother sends his regards before stabbing him to death whilst riding him.
When Daekis’ bodyguards came storming in, Kyria was standing in the room (naked) and threw Daekis’ dismembered penis at them saying that he had been dealt with. He was about to be killed when he pulled the bombshell that he knew the ins and outs of the entire business and if he died - all that information had already been given to a trusted source (Kasimir) and would be leaked. The group would be destroyed from the inside out without proper management. Kyria then strikes a deal that he becomes the new leader of the mafia and forms The White Eyes.
His identity is kept a secret to protect him, Kyria simply posing as a prostitute. He founds The Rose and Thorns as a brothel, and dons the pseudonym 'Dominus' to hide his true status of 'Lyivyr' (leader in Infernal), the leader of The White Eyes. When deals are struck, Kasimir stands in as Lyivyr, whilst Kyria watches on. He uses this as a technique to see exactly who he is dealing with, as he wants to control Korvine - and he personally believes that forming his own pseudo-society is the way to achieve that. During this time, he sends Akas to Glaiburg for protection.
A few years after this happens, Kasimir proposes to Kyria. The two hold a secretive wedding, with Eljeon officiating. Kyria doesn't wear the wedding ring in public, he doesn't wish to alter his reputation as it could quite easily tumble to the ground with the wrong rumour. He also doesn't express his affection to Kasimir in public either.
Eventually, The White Eyes becomes the most prominent mafia group in Korivne, arguably in Ulcaria as well. The group had also managed to organise an agreement with the local police force so that they could continue with their jobs without interference.
In 1883 F., Damxire Underwood arrives at The Rose and Thorns asking for a job from Kyria. Kyria is aware that he is the son of Lukas Underwood and Kyxes Arvis and heir of the Underwood family. However, Kyria learns he's fleeing domestic violence and offers a position to him as a bartender, stating that he would not employ him as a prostitute until he felt comfortable with it. However, Damxire found out after a few weeks that he was pregnant with his ex-partner's (Alexis Kiam) child. Kyria took him to Eljeon under the request for an abortion - however, the process failed multiple times. Eljeon theorised it had something to do with Damxire being a vampire.
Kyria offered him a permanent place in The Rose and Thorns, where him and his bodyguards would protect him. He asked him what he would want to do with the child when it was born, which Damxire asked for it to be placed for adoption. Kyria agreed and contacted his aunt, Akas who agreed to take the child on when it was born. In 1884 F. Arahiri Underwood was born in The Eden Centre, where Kyria arranged for her to be taken to his aunt and to Glaiburg, promising Damxire that she would have a good life, but not informing him where she had been sent. Since then, Kyria has kept Damxire in his employment and Kyria views him as a makeshift son (despite Damxire being significantly older).
In 1889 F., Nether starts appearing across Korvine. As a new unregulated drug that Kyria did not approve, he started an investigation into it. He hires Elrya Venleth to look into this for him. The two eventually link the drug to The Damnation, a rival mafia group. Kyria also allows Damxire to join in the investigation.
When looking into connections with the drug, they stumble across The Cloudmantle Estate, which was owned by the Brightmace family. Inside, they find many members of noble families celebrating a feast - and are linked to The Awakened Tongues, a cannibal organisation. The group sacrificed two people to try and summon a Demon - however, they failed to realise that a demon was already in their room. This was Ernamis. Ernamis ended up slaughtering the members and fulfilling their contract with Amrynn Montcroix to be the owner of the Montcroix inheritance.
Ernamis offered a contract to the three in the room, which Kyria agreed to - asking for his first request out of three that Ernamis answer any question Kyria may pose to him, compromised to once a day. The two agreed, under the condition that once the contract has been fulfilled, Kyria's soul would be consumed by Ernamis. They also find out that one of the members of The Awakened Tongues was Kurogu - who's sibling went missing a few months prior. Kyria looks into this and they manage to track her sibling, Dorimur, down to Ocean Resort where Griffin Falcon was currently residing.
Upon finding him, he seems in a panicked state and repeating the words 'go back' over and over. They did not understand why, however, he flicks a machine and the group get transported back in time to 798 F. Kyria and Ernamis find themselves in Frasgow in the middle of a revolution against the Quadshadow Factories across the countries, lead by Airo Yukimura. During this time, they investigate the city and try to find out why they were sent back here. Kyria finds a connection to the Handell family, who sold the Quadshadow factories to the Montcroix family in the next year. The Handell family, back in 1889 F., own Perdition Medical Limited.
After the holiday period, Kyria and Ernamis are reunited with Elrya and Damxire, along with a young Grifiya Valfina, Kyxes Arvis, Lukas Underwood and Griffin Falcon. They find out about a abandoned factory, with an early symbol of The Damnation. The group investigate, however are caught in the process.
They meet Rupert Handell at this point, which Kyria notices has an earlier version of the machine that Dorimur had and works out that this is their way back. However, the group were forced to watch as Rupert tests out Nether on Lukas and Kyxes. He manipulates the two to fight Griffin, who loses and dies as a result. Rupert also injects Grifiya with Nether to make her forget what happened, as he cannot simply kill her - it would cause too many issues.
However, he deemed Kyria, Elrya, Damxire and Ernamis unimportant enough to kill. Elrya managed to convince their executioner not to kill them yet - rather have some fun first. During this time, Damxire managed to escape his bindings and knock out the guard. The group freed themselves and injected the guard with his own batch of Nether before transporting themselves back to 1889 F. Kyria finds out Dorimur was injected with a large amount of Nether, causing his speech issues - but he sent them back for a reason. He takes him into his protection, along with the machine.
After the events, Elrya bring Valdiane Handell along into her party - no one knowing her family name. Valdiane remarks that she knew Kyria's mother - which shocks Kyria and makes him a little uneasy. He explains to Elrya, in private, about his mother and how he became the leader of The White Eyes.
After learning about Griffin's connection to The Damnation, Kyria requests that Elrya and Griffin attend a meeting set up by them to see if any clues are brought about. However, on this journey, Griffin killed one of Kyria's guards, Syrdal Daedove. Kyria immediately takes the two in for questioning, deducing that Griffin is a sleeper agent from The Damnation. Kyria condemns Griffin and declares that Elrya is responsible for him - if anymore deaths occur, he will view this as any form of betrayal on his family and this will be punished accordingly.
Elrya and Damxire started investigating the incidents further, in which they started finding connections between The Damnation and the Handell family, which they asked Kyria to investigate any links for them. Kyria discovered that Calder Handell, the current heir to the Handell family and Perdition Medical Limited, is currently serving a life sentence in Storm Bay Prison for murdering his wife. Whilst Elrya and her group go to visit the prison, Valdiane Handell expressed her wish to remain with Kyria and 'spend some time with him'. Originally, he ionise
