Elmyra Dalyna-Glynethi

Queen of the Kingdom of Errolone, Daughter of Elvara and First Elf of the Forested Glades

Queen Elmyra Dalyna-Glynethi is the Queen of Errolone and the divine ruler of the mathidonic elves who now call the forested kingdom their home.   She is the head of the erroloni Purists faction, which believes in a strict social hierarchy, entrenching the belief that magic users are naturally superior to those born without etheral abilities.   Queen Elmyra has been ruler of Errolone for 37 of the last 40 long years. During that time, the kingdom has been embroiled in a bloody civil war, with Elmyra on one side, and her cousin Tharion Amdor-Vindaris on the other.

Early Life

Elmyra was born in the Shimmerglass palace of Othrond o-Haled in 938 A.E.   Her father, King Taredd Glynethi-Amdor, and mother Queen Syndra Olindus-Dalyna were only fated to have one child, making Elmyra the only heir to the Erroloni Kingdom. Her mother, Queen Syndra, died during childbirth and so Elmyra was raised mostly by palace staff who provided for her every need.   Elmyra's magical ability was evident early in life and, in a world of declining magic, she is considered a master of etheral manipulation. Consequently, she has a strong following, with Purists seeing her as the rightful, ruler of Errolone and Ethera's chosen daughter.   She is purportedly, very beautiful and in possession of old elven grace. However her sour nature, cold mannerisms and strict adherance to 'outdated' traditions have won her little favour amongst the general Erroloni population in a nation divided by civil war.   From a young age critics have compared Elmyra with her cousin, Tharion Amdor-Vindaris, the son of her father's sister Maylin and her husband Elas Lunan-Vindaris. Though Tharion is devoid of magical ability, Tharion has something Elmyra doesn't have, charisma. Though he is side-lined by many in the upper echelons of Erroloni society, Tharion is also a champion of the lower classes, seeking reform to Errolone's political hierarchy to reflect the modern struggles of the region. This fact has won him a faithful following, earning his place in history as Elmyra's fiercest political opponent.

Heirs and progeny

Elmyra married her childhood sweetheart, Cassius Coraldir-Luthanis, when she was 47 years of age and the pair have five talented, high achieving children.

Crown Prince Kyren Coraldir-Glynethi

Prince Kyren is the oldest of the Coraldir-Glynethi children and is therefore first-in-line to the Erroloni throne. He is considered to be Errolone's greatest war commander.n His impressive ability to manipulate ether rivals even his mother's. He can be seen across the battlefield, conjuring illusions like no other, giving the Glynethi's an all important edge in battle.

Prince Finan Coraldir-Glynethi

In direct contrast with his brother Kyren, Prince Finan is quieter and more reserved member of Errolone's royal family. He is heralded as one of the finest artists of the age with his paintings fetching high prices amongst nobles in Othrond o-Haled.

Princess Saryina Coraldir-Glynethi

The oldest of Queen Elmyra's two daughters, Saryina is a talented musician who is said to be incredibly gifted with the The Leorva. It is said that her melodic laments make the common elf weep.

Prince Galen Coraldir-Glynethi

Like his brother Kyren, Prince Galen is also a talented mage. However, rather than battle mastery, Galen has turned his skills towards healing and herbalism. He is currently a medic in the Purists' army, treating those injured in the war.

Princess Roshia Coraldir-Glynethi

The youngest of the Coraldir-Glynethi family, Princess Roshia is something of a rogue. She can often be found 'slumming it' in the local chalice houses and drinking dens gambling on the game known as Sylvan Spindles. Her skill is apparently commendable and she often rids unsuspecting opponents of their coin.

I love how different all her children are. Really impressed with Galen for working as a medic!
