Botannicis Alchemiss I

"To those who walk the path of nature and potioncraft: listen not only with your ears, but with your soul. Each root speaks, each bloom sings, and each vial remembers."   To any potential readers:   Designations used:
  • 1 Small Bottle = 100ml Bottle
  • 1 Medium Bottle = 250ml Bottle
  • 1 Large Bottle = 500ml Bottle
  • 1 Extra Large Bottle = 1L Bottle
 

Chapter I:

Name: Elixir of Frozen Tranquility   Type: Potion (Mental Restoration)   Effect: Clears anxiety, fear, intrusive thoughts for 12 hours. Ideal for mages entering ritual trances or generals under stress.   Ingredients:
  • 50g Yukihana Moss
  • 20x Moon Orchid Petals
  • 1 Small Bottle of Distilled Dra'ahan's Tears
  • 1 Small Bottle of Chillwhisper Essence
  Preparation: Infuse under moonlight. Brew in a silver cauldron with blessed water. Stir counterclockwise 108 times. Allow to cool on a frost quartz slab.   Notes: "Best consumed before sunrise for clarity of dreams."  

Chapter II:

  Name: Crimson Woundrot Draught   Type: Poison (Toxic + Internal Damage)   Effect: Internal hemorrhaging, rot, muscle paralysis   Ingredients:
  • 5x - 10x Red Widow Root
  • 1 Small Bottle of Viperblight Resin
  • 50g - 100g Ashen Bark Dust
  • 2 Small Bottles of Bittermilk Sap
  Brewing Warning: NEVER inhale the vapors. Poison settles into the bones if exposed to open air. Prepared best in lead-lined glass.   Notes: "Shannari cultists used this on paladin patrols once. Father was furious."  

Chapter III:

  Name: Beast-Soul Elixir   Type: Elixir (Enhancement)   Effect: Heightens instincts. Night vision. Reflex boost. Smell detection.   Ingredients:  
  • 200g Silverleaf Grass
  • 5 Tea Spoons of Gravetooth Mushroom Spores
  • 2 Small Bottles of Essence of Wolf Bloodroot
  • 1 Small Bottle of Boiled Miqo'te Milk
  Instructions: Brew with spring water, enchant under a full moon. Keep spores alive.   Notes: "Avoid drinking while emotionally unstable or drunk. It made Uncle Markus become obsessed with tree bark for a few hours. I still wonder what was the reason in his case..."  

Chapter IV:

  Name: Blackfire Corruption Brew   Type: Forbidden Poison (Anti-Magic)   Effect: Burns mana, nullifies wards, causes magical scarring   Ingredients:  
  • 25x - 30x Vollon Void Petals
  • 1 Small Bottle Obsidian Lotus Extract
  • 50g Ashes of spell-scrolls
  • 1 Small Bottle Shadow Eel Oil
  Instructions: Prepare only during eclipses. Never taste. Store in dragonglass vials.   Notes: "This nearly ended me. I couldn't feel my chakra or mana for 3 days."  

Chapter V:

  Name: Earthskin Balm   Type: Salve (Physical Recovery + Protection)   Effect: Heals minor wounds, burns. Fire resistance +50% temporarily.   Ingredients:  
  • 1 Medium Bottle of Amber Lotus Resin
  • 1 Small Bottle of Heartoak Sap
  • 5x - 10x Frostmint Leaves
  • 25g Powdered Copper Ore
  Application: Rub into wound with warm water. Store wrapped in enchanted linen.   Notes: "Smells like burnt cookies, works wonders."  

Chapter VI:

  Name: Phantom's Breath Vial   Type: Stealth Potion   Effect: Invisibility for 180 seconds. Does not mask scent or sound.   Ingredients:  
  • 1 Small Bottle of Mistwisp Flower Extract
  • 200g Powdered Shade Root
  • 1 Large Bottle of Wraithwater
  • 150g Moon Crystal Dust
  Usage: Whisper your name to the potion. Swallow in one breath.   Notes: "Invisibility makes it easier to sneak pastries from the palace kitchens."  

Chapter VII:

  Name: Dra'ahan's Flameheart Elixir   Type: Divine Brew   Effect: Fire immunity, massive strength, fear resistance, temporary draconic aspect   Ingredients:  
  • 1x Heartscale Shard (from slain rogue flame drake)
  • 1 Small Bottle of Goldenfire Nectar
  • Drop of Blood from a Purehearted Soul
  • 1 Small Bottle of Sunglint Honey
  Crafting: Only licensed Alchemists. Final prayer must be spoken in Old Draconic.   Notes: "I saw Father drink it once. Dragonlance trembled afterwards."
