The Scarlet Horizon
The Scarlet Horizon is a secret organization that formed from the scattered pieces of the destroyed Blue Dawn guild. They would best be described as a transhumanist society. In other words they are mainly focused on finding ways to transcend their own mortality.
During the Bear Hill revolution, the Scarlet Horizon acted as a covert extension of Stormbreakers army as well as a cult devoted to the king. Its followers were lead to believe that assisting the king in his plan to turn the material plane into part of the Nine Hells, that the secret to immortality would be revealed to them.
During the Aryllian Renascence , The Scarlet Horizon was largely dormant. Its only activity consisted of finding new shelters, committing several acts of theft, as well as planning their return to power. The reinstated Blue Dawn worked during that time to rout as many cells as possible; however, by the year 12012 many still existed.
During the coronation of Beatrice Hawthorne as Duchess of Norwich, Scarlet Horizon attacked her using a spell stone stolen from a Blue Dawn storage facility.
Notable members of The Scarlet Horizon include its leader, Varrick Stormbreaker and Orren Bafflestone.
Virgil Hawthorne was a former member, although that affiliation was through the control that Orren had over him due to his "enhancements."
