Skjermet

Skjermet is a player character. As such, his page will be filled out as players become more aware of who he is.   Skjermet thus far has shown himself to be an opportunistic fighter, firing deadly arrows from a distance, and seems to be one to avoid too much time in the spotlight, as he was sitting off to himself, making notes as the remainder of the party first appeared entering into Isjarn's great hall.   Skjermet took a deadly shot from a goblin's arrow, but was able to have his wounds treated by the rest of the party.   The party has learned that Skjermet is a professional courier, transporting packages and messages throughout the dangerous Wildlands. As such, he's rather accustomed to navigation and survival.   Skjermet's meeting the party was no accident, as his most recent courier job was to deliever a letter to Tonn Beornegarson from Aestrid Reinndottir. After briefly being sidetracked by the party's adventures thus far, he was able to complete the job.   As the party cam upon a few Draugar, Skjermet showed more emotion than normal - a certain scorn for the undead. After rescuing some merchants from the Draugar, the party each received a wooden charm in the shape of a snowflake. Skjermet seemed to have some sort of reverence for the charm, placing it near where they disposed of the Draugar bodies. Additionally, he knew of a ritual necessary to permanently dispose of the Draugar, lest they return to life a few days later. Skjermet led the party through the ritual of beheading the undead, burning the corpses, and dumping the ashes into running water.   Along the Helgafel River, a strange woman spoke cryptically with the party, indicating that the river gives and takes. Later on, Skjermet was able to retrieve a magical bow floating in the river. As the river had given to him, he gave back to the river, depositing his former bow.
