The Curators

Who are The Curators?

The Library of knowledge is managed and guarded by The Curators, who are 16 extremely powerful, peaceful, devoted magicians, who originate from across Arcathia. The sole purpose of the Curators is to protect the library, and to sort, record, and file down all the data contained in the library. They first came about, just after the builders finished creating the Sanctuary, and after surpassing their body's limit. Once the magicians became so powerful, they had no need for physical bodies, transforming themselves into their astral forms, and out of the physical universe.

However, they appear to the average person as bright figures of light, casting warm glows upon spectators. Although, they cant be looked at directly, as they will completely vanish from view, and are only able to be seen in your peripheral vision. The Curators are so powerful they can affect the way they are seen by others, either being big, small, non-existent, massive or tiny.

The Curators have so much knowledge, power, and influence that they could challenge The Gods, however, they do not wish to, as violence breaks the rules they set before them, of keeping peace and information. Although, if it came to it, they would easily be able to hold their own against any significant entity, that wished to cause harm to The Sanctuary of Knowledge.

Why do The Curators exist?

Because the Curators were once simple magicians, they had to undergo extensive training, to clean their mind, body and soul. As the magicians became more and more devoted to their craft, they became more absorbed by knowledge and information, a deep desire to protect the data grew within each of them individually. As each magician progressed, they became obsessed by Magic, Gemstones, and other magical items such as Magic Conductive Metal. They studied every magical item they could find, adding to their research. At this point the Sanctuary was almost finished, which was perfect timing as the first magician became so powerful they exceeded their body's use, and transforming into their astral form. Once in this state, they each became naturally attracted to the home of magic, The Sanctuary of Knowledge
