What are Gemstones?

Gemstones are special crystal like stones that are a great way of storing massive amounts of energy, ready to be used at a later date. Depending on the properties of the stone, affects how much energy can be stored within. This means that some gemstones are more prized that others, as they can hold more power, and so they cost more to buy.

How do Gemstones work?

Gemstones work by being in constant contact with the wearer's skin, or through magic conductive metal, either as a piece of jewellery or an object. Most magicians forge their stones into the special metal, which is then shaped into a ring, necklace, bracelet or any other accessory they have access to. Because the stone is in contact with the user, it can be used. Just like the Charm of Kara'ul , you must put energy into the gem, before it can be used as it's intended. To put energy into it, the magician must concentrate on picturing their life force flowing into the stone, where it will then be stored indefinitely, waiting its release.
