Nyros

The home world of humanity: Nyros.

The planet itself is nothing remarkable, except for the fact that it birthed one of the most technologically advanced species to rule Arcathia. It was where the early cavemen emerged, and where the philosophers were beginning to discover the amazing nature of their world, and it was where the creation of interstellar travel for the human race was achieved.

However, all does not seem as good, for you see, once the humans had exhausted all the natural resources from the planet, they left. It was in the year 2942 AD when the humans ascended to the stars in the Exploritor Mission, with the goal to never return to Nyros and leaving it for nature to reclaim. Of the roughly 21 billion people living on the planet, only a measly 3 billion remained, saying farewell to their fellow kin, and watching as they abandoned their home. The 18 billion people who left Nyros, were split into three groups of roughly 6 billion. These three groups would later form the three empires: The Grankor Empire, The Sykon Empire , and The Dominion, - as it's formally known. The three ships housing the 6 billion people individually, were called "Inferno", "Syndicate", and "Arch-Angel".

After the ascension, the remaining 3 billion people had no reason to stay, and thus constructed a fourth and final ship, and embarked on yet another, longer journey to reach the region of space now know as The Wilds.
