What is the Grankor Empire?
The Grankor Empire specialize in extracting solar energy, as a fuel source and the main power source for most of their ships, weapons and technology. The information needed to built a solar battery is a highly kept secret by the Grankorian government, and is highly prized by other Empires and solo pirates. Most Grankorian ships find un-inhabitable suns, to extract energy from, being careful not to damage ecosystems. However, one brilliant scientist, figured out that black holes, take in light, and sun energy, trapping it. So the man devised a machine to take the energy from black holes.
Planetary Systems
In the Grankor Empire, there are many suns, with orbiting, habitable plants, totaling roughly 39.24 billion suns, with 97.5 billion planets and 3.987 billion of of those being habitable. In the early days of testing the Sun Batteries, scientists found the most secluded solar systems with no planets orbiting, to draw energy from. The staggering amount of suns and solar bodies means that the Grankorians will never run out of clean, free energy to harvest.
