The Dominion
The Dominion was first formed in 726 A.E. by a singular ruler who was determined to bring an end to the countless years of conflict. The Dominion consists of 7 Domains, each ruled by their own king. Every 5 years a High Emperor is selected from one of the currently ruling kings, to be the singular face of the Dominion. The council has 6 kings and 1 High Emperor, who makes the final decisions for the entirety of The Dominion. The kings act as advisors towards the Emperor, making sure he rules with a fair and just hand across the Empire.
There were a few power conflicts within the separate Domains of the Empire, but eventually they joined to form one, powerful empire. The Dominion.
The Emperor rules from his own planet, located in his own planetary system, and travels to the meeting station located in the neutral zone, near to the planet VASPR. This rule was agreed upon, so no Emperor had an advantage over the other kings when holding important political meetings. To travel to the meeting station, the High Emperor takes his own personal jump ship, making the vast distance short.
Planets
In the entirety of the Dominion, there are roughly 42.89 billion suns, that are spread out between each of the individual Domains, and around those suns are, again an accurate estimate, 105.65 billion planets. Each sun does not have one planet, for some suns have none, and others have quite a few. However, scattered amongst the planets are 4.265 billion habitable planets. To be fair, most of these planets either have no interest, have not been explored, or serve no purpose.
