Theobald I. "Der Unterdrücker
Son of Gustav I. "Der Erboberer", Theobald was a Holy Emperor of the Holy Empire of Middland.
After his fathers successful conquest of the elven fiefdoms, unrest in these regions was a daily problem he had to deal with as a young commander. He was soon known as "Der Unterdrücker" which translates to "The Suppressor" due to his draconian measures to control the region.
When he succeeded his father, his first act was to attack the renowned house of Tyrvalen and kill every member of it. He hoped to infuse the elves with fear and dissuaded them from causing problems for the local human nobility.
During his reign, there were several occasions on which elven peasants killed human petty nobility or soldiers in the region until a full blown rebellion under the command of Illithor va Vaenyrael broke out.
