Heinrich I. "Der Starke"
Marked by the long war with the elves, Heinrich offered peace to the elves. But the blood tribute the elves demanded as penance for all the death and destruction the empire brough was unacceptable to him. Every subsequent offer was met with the same demand.
So he continued to fight the rebels to his last day, which caused the annihilation of 11 elven noble families.
Until his death he mourned the unnecessary death of so many people on both sides.
