Kumah, World

Kumah is the homeworld of the Zelayan people. This world shares a name with one of the Aspects of the Cosmic Mother, Kainat Ana, Kumah.   Visible sometimes from Yorth, Kumah is where the Zelayans came to be, and upon which built a great civilization. The foresight of Goz and the gift of magick of Agil allowed the Zelayans to see distant Yorth and travel there by magick. The Zelayans and that which they took with them to Yorth thus escaped the disaster of the Infinite Sorrow. Little is known about this event, but from the perspective of the Zelayans on Yorth, it seemed as if their homeworld of Kumah was suddenly ignited into a great conflagration that still smolders to this day.   Kumah is orbited by two moons: the larger Agil (which shares its name with the Mind-aspect of the Cosmic Mother), and the smaller Goz (physical manifestation of the Eye-aspect of the Cosmic Mother).   The Zelayan people believe that it is their purpose as a people to extinguish the fires of Kumah, thus ending the Infinite Sorrow, regaining the favor of Kumah and healing the Cosmic Mother. To do so, they believe they must find locations and artifacts on Yorth, called Yer by the Zelayans.
