TTZs: Teleportation Traversal Zones
Subject: Teleportation Traversal Zones (TTZ)
File ID: TECH-INF-TTZ-001

Document Category: Technology/Infrastructure/Public Transit
Security Classification: Restricted
Introductory Overview: The Teleportation Traversal Zone (TTZ) is a cornerstone of modern logistical and civilian transport infrastructure within First and Second World nations. These specialized facilities house a network of teleportation stations, facilitating instantaneous travel between major settlements across the globe. Larger population centers, such as hive-cities, often contain multiple TTZs to manage transit volume. The integrity and security of these zones are paramount; as such, each TTZ is a hardened structure designed to ensure operational continuity and public safety.
//>_ Hacker_Override_Initiated... Karckess on the so-called “cornerstone” of travel.
Section: Infrastructure & Security TTZ facilities are constructed to military-grade specifications. The perimeter is defined by reinforced walls, often several stories high and multiple feet thick. The entire zone is enclosed, typically by a high-energy particle dome or a ceiling of durability-enhanced Iron-Glass. Defensive emplacements, including heavy automated turrets, are positioned at strategic intervals along the wall. Access is restricted to a single, heavily fortified entry and exit point, secured by reinforced blast doors and staffed by elite security personnel. These measures are designed to repel potential assaults from military forces, rogue organizations, or anomalous entities.

//>_ Call it what it is: a people-scrambler. You step in one box, get turned into a bunch of glowing dreck, and get spit out of another box hundreds of klicks away. The high walls and turrets? Sure, they keep the bad guys out, but they’re also real good at keeping the populace funneled and controlled. Every Corp-Rat guard at the gate is just another link in GTI’s leash.

//>_ Yeah, it’s a hard target, no doubt. But that security is all about protecting the product. Can’t have bandits or rival corps messing with Globe Trotter’s biggest cash cow. It keeps the whole system locked down tight, a perfect monopoly on getting from A to B without spending weeks on a mag-rail. If you’re wearing the Executioner’s collar, don’t think you can just buy a ticket and stride out of town; they’ve got scanners that’ll tag you before you even reach the blast doors.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The TTZ operates on a sophisticated mystech platform. The core process involves a tripartite mystical synchronization. Air Myst is utilized to generate a controlled spatial distortion, creating a temporary wormhole. Earth Myst provides the grounding and targeting vector for the destination point. Finally, Resonance Myst syncs the origination and destination portals to a unique, encrypted frequency for the duration of the transit. Advanced passenger integrity protocols are in place to ensure that multiple subjects can transit simultaneously without biological amalgamation.

//>_ That “passenger integrity protocol” is some seriously dark dreck. The rumor on the LSN from guys who actually build these things is that it’s a three-part schiz-show. First, Ruin Myst atomizes you. Scatters your body to nothing. At the same time, Resonance Myst does a deep-scan of your brain and soul—your whole identity. That data gets beamed to the destination, where Synthesis Myst prints a brand-new you. You don’t travel. You die, and a perfect copy with all your memories walks out the other end. Sweet dreams.
Significance
The widespread implementation of the TTZ network represents a paradigm shift in societal logistics and safety. By providing a secure and instantaneous mode of transit, the system effectively negates the inherent dangers of overland or atmospheric travel across Anogwin’s hazardous wildernesses. This has led to a dramatic reduction in transit-related casualties and has significantly bolstered economic and cultural exchange between distant population centers.

//>_ “Saved countless lives.” Yeah, maybe. But they never talk about the ones it breaks. Every now and then, you hear horror stories on the deep LSN. A BAdRecs of some poor trog arriving at the platform... inside-out. A screaming, fleshy mess. Or they look fine, but their mind is gone—just total schiz, drooling and staring at nothing. They say it’s a one-in-a-million glitch. You wanna roll those dice every time you buy a ticket? That’s the real price of admission.
