The Founding Charter of Christmastide Mystical Kingdom DOC

Preamble

We, The Christmastide Beings Family of present and future, now and forevermore create this charter to outline our establishment of the Christmastide Mystical Kingdom as it is dedicated to serve Santa Claus and his Mission and in doing so serve to raise the belief in Christmas Spirit and Nicholas's promise form when Nicholas became Santa Claus AKA Kris Kringle AKA Father Christmas AKA Jolly Old St. Nicholas.   Those who are present here and those-to-come promise to live with Light, Life, and Goodness and in the spirit of love, hope, joy, faith, and wonder as all dedicate themselves to serve Santa Claus and his Mission for many millennia to come.   And with this said we hereby establish the Charter of the Christmastide Mystical Kingdom for time immemorial.  

Article I: The Purpose

The Christmastide Mystical Kingdom is established to:   1. Foster Christmas Spirit and Goodness: Promoting the love and hope among all beings while also being kind and faithful.   2. Spread the Christmas Spirit: Once a year, Nicholas goes out into the mortal world to give children some hope and love and kindness so that they themselves foster Goodness and Light with the other mortals around them.   3. Protect Christmas Spirit and Preserve all Traditions and Customs: The Kingdom safeguards the childhood wonder and love that make Christmastide a most special time of year in the Winter. The Kingdom preserves and honors many non-Biblical customs and traditions that define the season of Christmastide while spreading the magic of the holiday.  

Article II: Governance

The governance of Christmastide Mystical Kingdom shall be led by Santa Claus or Father Christmas, who embodies the spirit of generosity and leadership and wonder.   Santa Claus (and the future Mrs. Claus) are able to convene a council of elves of their own choosing. This council will be able to help in the Mission by ensuring each part is on time and ready for Christmas Eve and by helping to allocate resources if one part needs help to be on time.  

Article III: Rights and Responsibilities of Christmastide Beings Family

All inhabitants of the Kingdom are granted the following rights.  

Rights

Those derived from the future Universal Declaration of Human Rights   Right to Positivity: This right allows all to experience joy, hope, love, and goodness and also the freedom to spread these throughout the Kingdom.   Right to Creativity: This right encourages all beings to innovate and be allowed to go in front of Santa Claus to ask him what his opinion is and to maybe be credited with something towards the Mission. It also allows each elf to contribute something helpful for the success of the Mission. Festivities ideas, holidays ideas, toy production help, help with other departments, elf safety and health and security are just some of the potential ideas elves might have to contribute to the Kingdom and the Mission.   Right to Inclusivity and Community: Each being in the family has the right to feel connected with the community and feel valued by other beings.   Right to Be Heard/Seen/Acknowledged: Each being in the family has the right to be heard, seen, and acknowledged by everyone else within the Kingdom's borders and within the magical world.   All inhabitants are also tasked with the responsibilities.  

Responsibilities

Responsibility to Ensure Mission Success: Each being has the responsibility to ensure that "The Mission" is successful each year.   Responsibility of Sharing: All beings have the responsibility to share the Christmas Spirit will all beings, including mortals.   Responsibility of Protection, Preservation , and Education of Ancient Power AKA Magic: All beings have the power to protect and preserve magic for future generations. All beings have the power and duty to educate mortals without spilling secrets and confidential information.   Responsibility of Protecting the Kingdom AKA Homeland: All beings have the duty to protect the Kingdom from "The Darkness" and evildoers against the Light, the traditions and customs of the Kingdom, the values of the Kingdom, and more.   Responsibility of Christmas Spirit Generation and Protection: Every elf, reindeer, snowperson, Yeti, and polar bear are responsible for generating Christmas Spirit every year and protecting the Kingdom and Valley from those who wish to use it to harm Santa Claus (its' guardian) or Ancient Power or the magic which is made by the generation of Christmas Spirit.  

Article Four: Christmastide Mystical Kingdom's Celebrations and Traditions

To maintain the vibrant and joyous culture within the Mystical Kingdom of Christmastide, there are a few holidays and traditions immediately set forth in this Charter that shall always be observed.   These traditions and customs include:   Christmastide Slow Season: From January to June, elves go to school and also on vacations. Santa, and later Mrs. Claus, go on vacation from February to April usually but sometimes later and sometimes earlier.   Christmas Season Midway Point: This festival marks the halfway point and includes Leon Day, the actual halfway day. The 21st to the 26th is the official week of this holiday which is a Christmastide Federal Holiday Week.   It begins on Litha AKA The Summer Solstice. On the 24th, a ceremony in the Christmas Town Central District honors both Leon Day and the mark between the slow season and the busy season which partially involves Nicholas giving the "All-Clear to Proceed Chaotically" signal. Each tradition within the holiday honors what was set forth long ago.   Christmastide Busy Season: After the Christmas Season Midway Point, the Kingdom is busier (therefore more urgent) just by the look and feel of everything. The elves begin working 12-hour shifts to ensure all is ready.   Operation: Merry Christmas: This unofficial holiday is the final preparatory stage of Santa's Christmas Eve Trip Around The World. It begins in November and is the final stage of counting down the time until Santa takes off.   Annual Christmas Eve Post-Santa Return Party AKA Christmas Eve Celebrations and Elfin Party: The last part of Christmastide Celebrations anywhere on Gaea are within the Valley. Here, all beings gather to celebrate the culmination of the year's efforts by all and to celebrate Christmas as a family. There is a dinner upon Santa's return by the party begins soon after he leaves. Elves who work will join this celebration as soon as they're able.   Reindeer Games: In the Spring sometime, a series of friendly competitions showcase the talents and skills of many reindeer as all try to enter the secret back-up team on Christmas Eve or on other prestigious teams and assignments.  

Article V: Amendments

As this document is living and breathing, new amendments may occur to better serve Christmas Spirit and the vision of the Kingdom Nicholas has brought forth, the inhabitants, and the Kingdom itself. Therefore, this process may occur but only proposals are brought forth by any inhabitant of the Kingdom which also includes anyone on the parliamentary council that oversees the Mission.  

Conclusion to Charter

In the spirit of Christmastide and unity and celebration, this founding document serves as the cornerstone to Santa's Mission and the Christmastide Mystical Kingdom. All Christmas Beings hereby promise to, and shall forevermore, pledge that they have the Spirit of Christmas in their very soul and that they shall uphold the Christmas Spirit and ensure that its light shines brightly.   And by proclaiming allegiance or loyalty to Santa or the Mission, any being also signifies that they are part of this Charter by virtuous ascent.
