The First Ones

The First Ones are the Elders of all species. They're also known as Race Precursors, True First Couples, the Progenitors or Primogenitors, and the Prime Beings of (race). It doesn't matter what name is used. These titles only mean the each elder couple are the original beings of that race of beings. They are most powerful. They possess the main gene for others being born. If found dead, the race also dies.   All sit on the Collective Congress serving faithfully. That is, until Ancient Power dies. Every species goes somewhere. What many don't know is that each leader return to Mystic Isles after the drain of magic on Gaea. They are making preparations.   But for what? The species each decide that after many millennia it is time. It is time for the gene and the title to pass on to someone else since the original Elders wish to connect with Ancient Power's Spirit. Why? They may be sacrificing themselves for the betterment of all magical species and magic in general.
