Solridhe

The demographic makeup of Solridhe mainly consists of humans. However, the elven population of the city seems to be growing at an awfully quick rate. A few other types of sentient, humanoid species seem to also be springing up in the area.

Due to originally being two districts of an even bigger city, the first citizens of the city decided that they would elect a person from both districts and they would be a Mayor Duo that worked together for the collective area. Despite those two districts no longer existing, the city kept the two Mayor system.

It used to be part of an even bigger city, back when the land it lies on was still on another planet. It is built atop the ruins of what was left after the crash landing.

People love to come here. Some come just to see the city on the birthplace of humans. Others come to see the city, because it's the local city and those tend to draw people in.

Made of mostly stone and metal. Some of the older and/or poorer regions have wooden bits. Solridhe is known for their preference of building up instead of sideways when they can. (And sometimes when they can't, much to the chagrin of a certain district.) Some believe this preference is to hide the ruins of the city from before under all the higher structures, though this theory has never been confirmed.

Built atop the remains of the more populated areas of Lonsland, which is an island that dropped from the sky and became a plateau. The populated areas happened to be at the end of it that landed near the ocean. And also at the end of it, which was a little more crumbly than other areas, so not the most elevated bit of the plateau.
