Imperial Noble Nursery

Once a baby girl is born, she is taken from her birther and placed into the Imperial Noble Nursery. The nursery is located in the Noble District of Grenegem. The babies are raised here by women until they are able to carry out basic functions by themselves, usually at age 3. From there, they are taken to different specialized academies that are chosen for them.   When they arrive at the nursery, they are automatically separated into different wings depending on what academy path was chosen for them, so they can be with other babies that will eventually go to the same academy. In each wing, bedrooms are separated by age group depending on the level of attention required and motor skill benchmarks. The age groups are as followed: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-11 months, 1 year, 2 years. Bedrooms are lined with cribs and decorated with symbols of the specific academy that they will eventually enter. For example, the rooms for babies that will eventually ender the Academy of Exploration are decorated with maps and miniature airships that hang from the ceiling. There are separate rooms for bathing, playing, eating, changing diapers, and learning how to use a toilet. The play rooms are not always separated by age because the caretakers believe babies learn best when they watch other older babies. However, babies are given different objects to interact with based on their age. These objects also tend to be related to the babies' given academy. Additionally, everyday the babies are read books with illustrations that relate to their academy.

The building was constructed with three wings, one for each academy : Academy of Exploration , Academy of Administration , Academy of Medicine, and Academy of Teaching.
