The Raa-Ki Tribe
The Raa-ki tribe are a nomadic group that travel the lands of the Shatter-leg Plains. Led by a group of druids, they travel the lands, taking what they need from nature.
Strong worshipers of Nura , they believe that the wrath of nature are trials sent from their God. A strong leader will lead the tribe safely through these trials where an unfit leader may struggle to keep the tribe healthy, fed and safe. Currently lead by Abland The Never Drowned who led the tribe to high grounds and used his animal forms to ferry people through the waters during the century flood, ensuring all their survival. He has led the Raa-Ki fiercly and stoicly. Always seeking guidance from the other tribe elders to be certain that his choices are the correct ones.
For many centuries the Raa-Ki were feared for their legendary fighters that would often raid into the southern lands of Otros where they would kill defenders to steal food and valuables. In more recent years their warrior ways have become more of a tradition. Food and materials are now sought from nature in a way that has brought them closer to the god they worship. Spiritual worship is led by the eldest member of the tribe, currently Elder Nerys the Green.
After centuries of traversing the plains the Raa-Ki have learnt many tricks to assist with navigation. Their connection to Nura causes the very land itself to seem to roul and mold itself to allow safe and easy travel. Horses never stumble and carts never breakdown. As such the tribe are treated as valued guides for those seeking to travel further into the desets of Akesh.
Government
The tribe is led by the chieftan whos word is law. Often though, when a big decision needs to be made they will consult the other elders of the tribe. This is done particularily when the decision potentially goes against their beliefs and traditions. If a decision is not reached the chieftan will request the current shaman to contact Nura for her guidance. While a lengthy process, once her word is recieved it is followed to the letter.

As the Raa-Ki are nomadic, they opt to use hide tents that are easy to take down, transport and set up again. Simple, single rope fencing is used to cordon of a patch of land for the horses and other beasts of burden. Where more strength is needed they take wood petrified by the scorching sun and form the supports for their tents, fence posts and totem poles.
