Shatter-Leg Plains
A large expanse of semi-arid grassland reaching from the southwestern corner of Akesh, partway along the The Iron-Core Range and north until the land turns to a dry waste. It was given its name due to the many frequent meter deep holes that are caused by a combination of infrequent flash floods and the many small critters that tend to burrow underground to avoid the heat and sun. Such holes are frequent causes for broken legs of people and horses that are unfamiliar with the area. Guides are often employed when fast travel is required.
