The Great Dorei

North of the Coast of Glass and the Sea of Spiced Winds, the expansive savannahs of the Great Dorei are the final region of the westerlands before the frostwastes. The Great Dorei and it's great plains are notable for having little in the way of long term civilizations, and even less in the way of standing settlements, save for Immrion, which has stood in it's current incarnation for hundreds of years, but whose site rests atop the bones of some long forgotten city.

Geography

The Great Dorei

The grasslands of the Great Dorei are the single largest known expanse of unbroken flatlands on the whole of the Mainlands. From here herds of wild horses ride freely into the endless skylines in search of pasture. It is also in these lands, that the Sendorei have called home.

Kar'nora

Interrupting the serenity of the surrounding grasslands, the desert of Kar'nora break through the center of the Dorei from northernmost waters of the Sea of Spiced Winds to the central body of water, Dorei Anore. The mountain ranges of the Kar'nora form a valley bathed in shadow for nearly all hours of the day excepting for periods where the sun is directly overhead.

The valleys of Kar'nora, though an escape from the desert heat is also home to unnumbered poisonous animals from the many-limbed Armored Beetle to the Onyx Sandserpents.

The Bloodlands

Resting in the shadows of the mountain ranges that separate the Dorei from the O'nlonan Frostwastes, the Bloodlands are hostile badlands which stretch from the coast of the Western Expanse all the way towards the burning fields of Xurzug. The sands of the Bloodlands are a of a deep carmine like that of the spilled blood from which the Aelves had given it its name.

Believed to have been cursed in the time before the Aman, the region is nearly completely devoid of civilization, save only for the madness of Bloodthroat Haven whose persistence in the region have bred legendary warriors like those of the Flames of Karaban.
