Alara Mehnot

Alara Mehnot is the niece of Marlene Mehnot. She specializes in Creature lithomancy, and is the anchor point of their blood mycellia - a network of communication which uses electrolytes as signals to direct others on that same frequency wordlessly, and even allow them to move slightly.

She is a quiet but studious person who can be very intense and unfettered in battle, she tends to hyperfocus on a few things and give her all into them. Her specialty with creature currents means that her spells can have maximum effects on other species and creatures, making her blood mycellium some of the most powerful in the tournament.

She is close friends with Youna Louet, with whom she shares a love of Jellow King. Though she is not as enthusiastic over King Hroland as Youna, they often go to the restaurant together and try to recreate the recipes. She lives on one of the Cypress Islands, where she helps operate the largest hospital in the area.

Catu Samonii Stats

Alara is very talented much like her aunt Marlene, having been closely mentored by her to excel in field work and combat. Her blood mycellium is very strong. However, she does not have much political influence having fled marriage prospects and moved out to the Eskern East wilderness - something only granted to her because of the prestige she brings to the family by competing with Marlene. Alara is well liked by most, though she comes off more naive than she actually is due to mild shyness. Her resources are limited and much of her equipment for Catu Samonii is subsidized by her aunt.
