Ae-Ina Verpenwythion
Ae-Ina is the matriarch of Cin Penwythion, an ancient but gentrified and collapsing noble house in Eskern Forest. She is in her last Oak and Laurel Cycle, which in the Eskern Forest lasts 180 years. She has lost the ability to clone herself fully formed offspring, the limited gene pool having caused a bottleneck as her clones and offspring are also now all infecund or severely disabled and cannot take her place or secure an heir.
She married Hithwenia, the sister of Lou Hen, who was desperate for citizenship to Eskern. With Hithwenia she was able to have a fully formed child, Ina Wythwedau, as well as some other heirs to bring back some prestige to Cin Penwythion and keep them from being overrun by rivals.
