What. Is. This.
All I did was fall asleep on top of a dog, and now what do I wake to find? We are far from where we started. This is a good thing, I suppose, but not really what I planned for. I'm not really sure where I am. All I know is that we are now in a gladiator fight.
I am unsure of the group I have chosen to come along with now. They were meant to be meat shields, not drag me into danger needlessly. Sons of bitches. At least the dog is useful.
We're in a colosseum of some sort, and they are yelling for us to fight a nilbrin. The fuck is a nilbrin? In the back of my mind I think I've heard stories of it. It eats spirits or something? I wonder if spirits taste good. Could be worth eating in the future...
Ah, I can feel the change now. Must be nighttime outside now. Mmm. They all look so much tastier. Perhaps except for the dog. He seems like he would be difficult to digest. But the gnome and the dwarf... And Anwen looks tasty too. But I could never eat her. She's been kind, and she has all that lovely wool. I wonder what I could do to get her to part with some of it...
Oh, there's a skeleton coming into the arena. Not a lot of meat on him, though, but I suppose bone marrow is tasty enough on its own... Crack the bones open just right and it's right there, ready for consumption. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. It must be strong though, as it seems this is the only one we're fighting. Perhaps it would be prudent to wait a little. Let the others do their part as meat shields first. But bone marrow...
No, I will wait. But not long.
Fuck. This thing is annoyingly resistant. And it seems fixated on the bird man in this group. Which wouldn't be a problem, except bird man seems intent on staying close to me. Stay away, bird man! I don't want to be hit by this black-goo-dripping skeleton!
It's starting to look less and less appetizing. Spirits must not be very good food, as this skeleton thing could need a little more flesh. It looks bony as hell, as the dwarf so accurately mocked.
We manage to kill it though. I'm glad it seemed to be clumsy today. Well, we all have bad days. As long as it's not me having a bad day, I can sympatize with it. And it seems we've won a lifetime supply of hot dogs! Yes, thank you, I'll happily take that please! And tons of gold. But at least the dog offered to carry some of that for me, and seeing as I cannot carry it on my own I shall have to leave it to him. He is turning out to be very useful!
We also have a holiday. Wonderful. I have no idea where we are right now, though, but it will be nice to get further away from that woman.
