Strolling the countryside with four strangers

by Ki'tor

Ahh! Something relaxingly familiar for once! We are following two noblemen. It may be through the countryside instead of a city, but when it comes to Riwenjing it makes little difference. Ohh it reminds me of following my brother around to see what joys an adult life had to bring.

Though I have begun to seriously question my travelling companions.

The blue one, Jane, seems quite stuck up on the past. Maybe I would have been too if I had lived several lives. Yet it distracts from what we are doing now.

The beautiful one, Zalia, is a dangerous thing. I have heard stories of fish attracting prey with a bright shining light. Zalia reminds me of nothing more than those fish.

Geneviève is something. At one moment respectful of my customs, the next mocking the entire Blessed realm. Even if I might share some of her views it still gets under my skin to hear someone from outside The Kang express such views. If she do easily pinpoints our weaknesses... Well then other can too. If the banners find out how rusty the chains holding them have become... Heaven forbid!

And well Le phare doré Pierre-Pascal Frankling, the prick, remains as aloof as always. It seems as though he is trying very hard to fit a mold that he has convinced himself is is perfect fit. I however believe he is sorely mistaken. Hopefully he will understand that himself, before it is to late.

Regardless we are closing in on the mountain holdout of the bandits. Hopefully there is not that many of them. There sure is not that many of us. Fighting skeletons was one thing, my heritage making me adept at such righteous tasks. Thinking, breathing beings will be something else. I hope the others have made a good plan. I certainly have not. Thankfully I am very fast. Just in case this proves to not be my path. I truly cannot see what has drawn BR to this desolate place...
