Appearance
Physical Description
Raphael was rather lithe, quite visibly weak, but quite dexterous as well.
Body Features
There were a myriad lines of intersecting scar lines along Raphael’s back.
Facial Features
Raph didn’t really fit the bill compared to the normal half-orc, with very pointed features compared to his rougher looking kin. His sky blue eyes were quite striking and even noticeable from a distance away.
Physical quirks
Raph’s ears were more elongated and pointed compared to his tribe, which reflected his fey heritage.
Apparel & Accessories
Raph wore a set of simple common clothes, composed of light grey work-pants and a white cotton shirt, with the sleeve commonly rolled up. He also tended to have a dark grey overcoat draped haphazardly around his shoulders. A Gatsby cap with an albatross feather stuck in it commonly adorned his head. He lost the hat, jacket, and shirt and replaced all but the first with similar garments.
Special abilities
Divine Soul: Raph’s fey parentage allowed him to cast several spells, often more effective compared to those he could cast with his bardic repertoire.
Bardic Talent: His skill with music allowed Raph to cast spells/effects that could aid his friends in battle.

Personal history
“Well… in my first life, I was Arlethe Razorfang, son of Malvanik, who is matriarch of our tribe. I also had a brother named Rhadakhan, who was the only one on Abhul’s table, where our tribe roamed, who gave me the light of day. Y’see, I was pretty weak compared to everyone else, so I was basically ignored for a really long time. But that changed when I met my father, Alaric Stonewall. He was quite mysterious, wearing a large hat that obscured his face and colorful clothes. He showed me the magic that only music could bring, and to tell the truth, I was entranced. After my father had to leave on a ‘mission of great importance’ I felt inspired to follow in his footsteps. But my mother, now set of expanding territory, wanted me to become a warrior. After I foolishly told her of my true calling, a lot happened. All I’m gonna say is it involved a lot of scourging, and I blacked out. I eventually awoke in a church of Melora, and a cleric there informed me I had been brought back from death; the were also some severe, unhealable scars all over my back from the whipping. Since I had been exiled, I abandoned the name my mother had gave me and became Raphael Stonewall, who would continue the tradition of my father.
My second life was hectic. I fell in with some adventurers that came to the temple and learned some bardic magic during that first quest. Eventually I left that party though, as I had learned there was an accomplished adventurer’s guild where I could work with comrades more on my, at the time, novice skill level. There I met Ilphrim, a cloak-clad rogue; Raelyn, a well-meaning monk; Jenkins, an eccentric ‘knight’; The Boss, a finely dressed tiefling who was my employer; and Judge, a warforged with a knack for surprise. The Boss sent us on a mission for the Fully Reliable Adventurer’s Guild, and our group went on many successful missions. During these ‘fun trips’ we learned of an Elven plot to attack the city of Norwich; while we didn’t think the Empire was innocent in every regard, we sought to keep the people living within it safe, so we joined the guard force. On that horrid day, I saw many innocents die, as fire rained from above and soldiers slaughtered hundreds of thousands below. Adran himself was almost our judge, jury, and executioner, but we were saved by the Boss, who happened to be Valros, one of the heroes of legend. After surviving that grim day, we knew that peace must be forged with the Empire and the Elven forces, and Adran and his cronies must be stopped. After arranging a meeting, our group was then able to catch a rat that would have likely done heinous things in the name of Adran, but a treaty was made. F.R.A.G. then traveled to the Imperial capital Alderdeen to uncover those that sought to overrule the will of its queen, Beatrice. It was there that we fought General Lescott, who transformed into a powerful being. His power was so immense, it was to him that I lost my second life.
So that’s it, my tale of tales, which as you can plainly see, didn’t pan out the best. But I hope you at least got some catharsis out of it all, that’s part of my job, to make people smile.”
Education
“The learning I received was mostly in regards to my craft, being bardic tradition, which I learned from my father and some books on the College of Valor I found during my first quest. But, being raised in a compact tribe in a remote location, I never really got to learn much about the outside world, other than epic legends, of course.”
Employment
“At first I joined a mercenary group and went on a long journey on foot to Norwich, but what they were dealing with was pretty extreme, so I decided to join F.R.A.G after learning about it.”
Accomplishments & Achievements
“I’ve had a few accomplishments. One included helping stop a dark cult ritual, not losing my life to the Minister, and a Medal of Honor (which I won in death unfortunately)!”
Failures & Embarrassments
“There’s been quite a few more of these, compared to achievements. While this was alongside the group, we all couldn’t prevent Lucas Porter from getting captured. Attempting a stakeout of a Razorfang camp in, admittedly, a rather shoddy disguise allowed my brother to recognize me and ruin a plan our group made to get a meteorite. I also made the fantastic decision to seek out the minister in the middle of the night to merely ask him a question about my father, which got me locked up for several hours; however, I did end up reuniting with Alaric after that night. And, of course, there’s the fact that I spurred on a powerful foe when the party wasn’t all together, and it cost myself and Raelyn our lives.”
Mental Trauma
“My mother’s rejection of my vocation left more than just physical wounds. The affair left me in an almost catatonic state for a few days after arriving at that church, and I would later risk a lot just to try and ask my mother why she did all that, only to not get an answer.
As all I could do at the massacre at Norwich was watch, I was filled with an almost manic desire to prevent further conflicts like that, which propelled me along the path which led to my second death. At the very least that fervor helped end decades of hostility between a majority of the empire and elven populations.”
Intellectual Characteristics
“With my father and the past tales of heroes as my inspiration, I developed quite the knack for songwriting; I can really spin a tune out of anything, especially if it can score a free inn stay here or there. Tactics isn’t my strong suit, but I feel my unconventional plans have the potential to take my enemy off guard and give our group the advantage.”
Morality & Philosophy
“I believe that anyone has the potential of doing great deeds, all they need is that one push; after all, my father gave me a push that led to me help F.R.A.G. foster peace between the Empire and elves.
I’m also a firm believer in the value of all people and that it should be protected. This belief helped found my view that conflicts should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.”
Taboos
“My culture considered basically everything I was to be taboo. I wasn’t the strongest, I didn’t have a temperament for conflict, and I wanted to make my way in the world as a bard; it’s not hard to see why I was ‘exiled.’”
Known Languages
“I know common and orcish. I’ve wanted to learn elvish to add more flair to my songs, but it’s pretty complicated to learn. Maybe now that I’ve been whisked away to the Feywild, I’ll have time to learn!”
Personality
Motivation
Raphael was motivated to continue the bardic tradition of singing songs of legendary heroes. He also vowed to make peace between the two warring factions, and get his father’s hat back from the minister.
