Druid that was unwillingly made into a simic hybrid and now seeks revenge on the man responsible.

"As a child, I had a deep seated fascination with the natural world. This lead me to become a Druid later in life. I had a good life. I felt fulfilled being able to protect the world that I found such beauty in. 
 
But one night, I was taken in my sleep. I awoke in an unfamiliar place, strapped to a table. An anti-magic band prevented me from casting any spells. Fear shot through me and I struggled against the restraints. Eventually, a man walked into the room. He wore a plague doctor mask which revealed only a pair of crazed, bloodshot eyes. He walked up to me and before I could say anything, he pierced my skin with a syringe containing a strange looking liquid. Almost immediately after I felt an intense burning begin to course through my body as this unknown fluid flowed freely through my body. I writhed in pain, screaming in agony, trying by any means to escape this torture, but to no avail. All I could do was lay there, enduring the ceaseless torment brought on by this man. 
 
After what felt like an eternity, he finally put the syringe away and grabbed a cloth before it on my face. Slowly, the pain dulled as I drifted off to sleep. When I awoke I was back in my home, but I noticed that I had grown a pair of skin flaps that allowed me to glide through the air. Some others may find such a thing amazing or fun. However, I was horrified. How could I protect the natural world if I, myself, was not natural as well? I couldn’t allow the other druids of my grove to see the monstrosity I had become, so I fled in the dark of night. 
 
I did not know where I would go but I couldn’t remain there. All my life I’d fought to protect the natural world and to preserve its beauty. But now, being the hideous, affront to nature that I am, all I long for is death. But first I must bring an end to the man who did this to me to ensure that he will never curse another being the same way he did me. Only then can I claim the sweet death that I long for."
