Carnis was originally used as a sacrifice to the demon that had been harassing his goblin tribe but was instead taken in by the demon named “Caro Caro”. Caro Caro told him that he was a special child saying “you, my son, are the most powerful of all whom I’ve seen. You stand in front of me, a god, and I shake in fear. You are a more divine creature than I could ever be. For you, I wish to make you more powerful. I shall give you this flesh, It will suffuse you with even more power, but it comes at a cost, you can only eat the flesh of other humanoid creatures to satisfy your hunger. But please you must help me, this world is overrun with blasphemous people. My once followers preach of false gods and demons. You must either bring them back to me or kill them where they stand. If you kill them you must eat of thier meat, for when you do they will come to live in paradise with me. Also from this, I will regain some of my lost power. Any power I may regain, I can give to you to help you bring back the lost and the blasphemous. So what will you do bring the people back to me or let this world crumble and fall into the hands of the unworthy.”
Carnis took the flesh and ate it. For many days and nights he wandered and hunted for any lost or alone people and would eat them for food, ignoring their screams and pleas for help. After many nights of this, he had wandered into Necahual were he now resides eating the flesh of the weak, lost, and disabled. Many people believe that he is just a myth made up to scare people. (For context, he’s seen more as a monster than a goblin. Also, thought of more like a cryptid or horror story publicly)
