Sveren Hobb is the groundskeeped for Stone Sapphire University. He grew up in the south of the Gatelands. When the University crashed he was the only member of staff present who survived, leaving him to find the only other possibly surviving member of staff, Prof. Amilya Stonerose, which has lead him north to The Foxhole seeking her.
