Adran Amakiir is the son of Leoyarus of house Amakiir, one of the three noble houses of the elven kingdom of Afathalore. Eight years after the end of the war, Adran, now at age 123, has married Keyyra of house Thulas.
Adran Amakiir is the son of Leoyarus of house Amakiir, one of the three noble houses of the elven kingdom of Afa Thalor . During the Mad King's War, he was sent by the Elven Council to provide support to the Bear Hill rebellion. He was joined with the team Sparky, Caelan Alterra, and Casseus. He would also go on to be chosen as the successor to Harbeck Fireforge as the wielder of Frey's Fire Amulet and join the New Vanir. Although Adran did many good deeds and felled many foes of the Material Plane, his tenure as an adventurer was rife with miscalculations and grave error. Early on, due to a deception planned by God King of the Abyss: Demon Lord Baphomet, Adran's younger sister Ara was killed by his own hand. In the wake of this tragedy, Adran agreed to gather souls for Baphomet in order to have his sister brought back from Baphomet's clutches. This deal would lead to the death of Sparky (although it was technically Casseus that actually dealt the final blow), as well as Baphomet's assault on Oceanhaven.
After the Mad King's War he married Keyyra Thulas, a noble from one of the other three houses. Throughout the brief 8 year period of peace, Adran would hunt monsters in order to fulfill his deal with Baphomet. Baphomet did keep his word, and Ara was returned to life. However, Adran did not want to soil his own reputation, so he claimed that it was a gift of the goddess Melora rather than the result of a deal with a demon lord. Adran would again take up arms to defend the realm when the Scarlet Horizon, under the direction of Varrick Stormbreaker attempted to haveBeatrice Hawthorne assassinated. His adventures with Deicide would eventually lead to his participation in the slaying of Ahriman during the Great Cataclysm.
During the 30 years following the Cataclysm, Adran mostly kept to himself, raising the child that he had with Keyyra as well as developing the Green Cloaks. That would change, however, when Immeral Amakiir was revealed to be the reincarnation of @Thor, and the rightful king of Aryllia. When it came time for Immeral to take his throne, Dautlin's Great Refusal lead Adran to begin mobilizing the Green Cloaks to strike out against the Empire.
When tensions were at their highest, tragedy struck. While Keyyra Thulas was on a humanitarian mission in Zery to provide relief from sanctions placed on them from the Empire, a contingent of soldiers lead by General Deon Lescott came to the city and executed all of the Elven clerics there, including Keyyra. When Adran learned the news, it broke him. In a fit of rage he flew to Zery and brutally killed all the soldiers in Lescott's company, except for Lescott himself who then revealed himself to be Mars, the Fey Champion of War. Mars offered Adran a deal, he would the power to achieve his goal of revenge so long as he does not stop waging war until it is finished. Because Adran blamed every single person in Aryllia that did not stand up to the Empire, he now had a mission of genocide before him.
Adran's declaration of war was first received when he and a large contingent of Green Cloaks attacked the city of Norwich killing two-million people and nearly razing the city. Following the attack, Adran was placed on trial before all the allies of Thor. However, Adran escaped and began to build power in Southhost , the only other Elf controlled city in Aryllia.
Adran was eventually defeated by FRAG in the Second Great Battle of Southhost. Valros Caecior would perform last rights, expelling Mars' essence from Adran. However, as per Divine Law, the great feat of destroying a being as powerful as Adran lead to the creation of a divine heart which was immediately claimed by Adran in a final attempt to fight back. However, it was the Divine Heart of the Abyss that was formed causing Adran to take Baphomet's place.
As far as anyone can tell, Adran now resides in the lowest part of the Abyss, ruling over it all while in chains.
