Physical Description

Normally petite, Harriet has become more gaunt and emaciated during her time in Barovia. She is still agile thanks to her Vampiric gifts and rougish tallents.

Body Features

Harriet's body has a few scattered scars she's collected over the years, including a new set of bite marks from Strahd. She also has scars from being whipped growing up.

Facial Features

Harriet's eyes sharp and cunning; they are wide-set but round, scarlet in colour. Her skin is a pallid, alabaster-grey tone nad littered with scars. Harriet's face is heart-shaped, though her time in Barovia has made her features sharper. Her mouth is small with thin lips, dry from malnourishment.

Identifying Characteristics

Along with her generally unusual appearance in Barovia, Harriet has a scar from her left ear down her neck that healed poorly.

Apparel & Accessories

Normally dressed in rougish leathers, Harriet now wears the ragged remains of Barovian attire (traditional slavic clothes). She also has a silk hankerchief that Maisie made her when she was a child with "AC" embroidered on it.

Mentality

Personal history

Ariane was the product of a twisted marriage between a halfling vampire lord (Vladimir) and Maisie's mother (Annabelle). Raised to be a killing machine, Ariane has known little else outside the love her mother and half-sister gave her. During the worst years of her abuse, Annabelle passed away, leaving her and Maisie more vunerable than before.
 
Following their escape from the Shadowfell, the pair was split up. While Maisie had her own adventures in Faerun for a decade; Ariane was quickly swept up in an adventuring party of her own before being spirited away to Barovia. She intrigued Strahd, especially when her Dhampiric nature was revealed, so he bestowed the gift of becoming an actual vampire on her. Now under the thumb of a new master, she has spent the last decade being Strahd's spawn and her spirit slowly breaking as both escape and rescue seem impossible.
