Personal history

Howard was the second son of the Montgomery family, 9 years younger than his brother Heihmen Montgomery he always felt like he was living in his shadow, Heihmen was a great combatant from childhood while Howard prefered the books, they were like night and day but always had each other's back, their parents died when howard was just 7, their uncle tried to get a share of the inheritance but the distribution clarified it all went to the kids.
 
One day Howard woke up in the middle of the night and he saw someone in their room, he screamed at the stranger and woke his brother who in return managed to throw a lamp at the stranger, his brother struggles on the ground but its clear that he was losing, there are screams and Howard panics, the next thing he knows his room is on fire and the stranger is taking off part of his cloths that were ablaze, both he and his brother realizes the guy who just tried to kill them was their uncle, he runs away and leave them for dead, Heihmen is trying to put out the fire but howard just panics, his body is shifting and growing in a unnatural way, he grabs his brother and jumps through the wind gliding down to the garden, he turns back to normal but his skin is still coated in a ooze-like goo, time passes, without the material part of their inheritance there wasn't enough to start a life from ground up, Howard was sent to the mage school to learn to control his powers while Heihmen joined a mercenary band and start saving up the money they would need.
 
The life in the city of mages was not easy, he was just 16 when he was sent there, his appearance usually drove people away so he got used to studying alone by himself, but on the library he ended up becoming friends with the girl who took care of the books there, her name was Eleanor Ressys, a half elf that ended up there after her city got destroyed by a forbidden ritual, with nowhere left to go she started working at the library in exchange for shelter, the years passed and their friendship blossomed into a romance, when it was time for him to go back to the city he invited Eleanor to go live with him, they both joined The badgers and started helping when they could, Howard still plans on getting vengeance on his uncle to this day and to right the wrongs that happened to him.

He had a noble-like education from birth, and spend the later part of his teens on a wizard's school.

He wishes to smear the name of his uncle or outright kill him for what he done, he is also strongly motivated by Eleanor Ressys since she was the first person who accepted him despiste his appearance.

Despiste his agressive and even vile nature sometimes, he holds his brother and fiance really close, and have some love for The badgers since they all alos accepted him as an equal.
