Appearance

Physical Description

Tall and thin, with a petite frame but marked toned muscles due to constant walks on the forest, climbing trees, exploring, swimming in the rivers...
Her skin has a blue/purple hue, with freckles on her cheeks. Round, kind face with big doe-like eyes in a pale icy blue with gold speckles. Her hair is long, to her waist, waivy and of an aquamarine colour that becomes paler when the sun hits it for long periods of time.

Body Features

Freckles on her body, specially shoulders and back. Her chest and shoulders have fine line tattoos that are done in a light blue colour, and are shaped like branches of a tree, interconnecting.

Mentality

Personal history

Born in Myth Drannor in a semi-nomadic clan of Moon elves, Ellyrian had instilled into her from a very early age a strong wanderlust and sense of adventure from her family and clan. From a very young age she displayed affinity with the natural world, animals and plants.
 
She worships the Goddess Angharradh, spouse of Corellon, as did her family and clan, though she will occasionally pray to Silvannus and Corellon himself. She has a strong sense of religion, and though is tolerant with religions of other people, specially humans, she isn't fond of having arguments regarding this subject as she is not one to change her mind.
 
She was raised in Myth Drannor but her clan moved to the Dales when she was around 80 years old, shortly before the Year of the Blue fire. She sadly saw a lot of her clan die due to the spellplague during the Wailing years as they were magic casters whose spells backfired. That pushed her away from pursuing arcane magic and even after the return of Mystra, she focused on the natural world and the druidic path.
 
The last 20 years of her life she has seen a lot of conflict, with the empire of Netheril attempting to attack first the Dales and then Cormyr itself in retaliation, and the eventual fall of Myth Drannor (her hometown) when Elminster defeated the Netherese and their enclave collapsed over the city at the end of the Second Sundering. It was during this conflict that she encountered an imprisoned fae creature, her blink puppy, "rescued" her and became her inseparable companion.
 
So this is definitely not her first "end of the world" neither the first time she has seen Gods fall and raise again, and she has remained a hopeful

Education

Raised in a nomadic clan she knows how to track, hunt and gather edible and medicinal plants, at least the basics. She speaks common tongue and elvish as her main 2 languages. A little bit of dwarven.
Started studying the druidic arts only a few years back so her knowledge of them is still a bit limited.
She knows how to craft basic tools, and to saw fabrics.
She knows how to craft very basic potions

Mental Trauma

The spell plague ravaged through her clan, causing several members who where trained on the arcane arts to die in horrible ways or get corrupted as they were using a spell. This included close friends and even family members.
The seldarine drow worship of other Gods in the elven pantheon weakened Angharradh's power in a moment when her people truly needed her. This combined with her already mistrust of the drow in general has lead to her being antagonistic to drow elves.
When a group of mercenaries decided it was a good idea to capture and torture a small blink dog puppy, a fae creature, in the same forest where she was living, they found out quickly it was a bad idea. Her reaction, after their denial to let the animal go, was extreme and the conflict ended bloody. Her actions on this day still haunt her, even if she knows she did the right thing.

Intellectual Characteristics

Smart, her relationships with other races since a very young age have made her have insight into the way of thinking of humans, dwarves, gnomes etc. She is optimistic by nature and tends to think the best of people and expect the best, so is easy to dissapoint her.
Not quick to anger, but if she does get angry it takes her a while to calm down.

Morality & Philosophy

As a druid, learning to be defender of balance. However raised in a society that relied heavily on community and on the wellbeing of others being more important than that of the individual, she is very prone to make decissions having other creatures or societies into consideration. She has no disdain for shorter lived races and instead she enjoys the nuance of their differences.
She will go above and beyond to protect animals and weak, defensless creatures in general.
