Physical Description

Ari has a short and skinny physique. He does not appear to be physically strong but he is more than capable of performing acts of decent strength.

Body Features

Underneath Ari's clothes, he is covered in small scars all over his body. He also has one large scar that goes from his upper left shoulder down to his right hip.

Facial Features

Ari's face is soft and kind with the exception of a small scar on his lip. His neck also has a long scar running across his throat, he uses his scarf to keep this hidden from others.

Identifying Characteristics

Ari's white hair and bright red eyes are easily identifiable at a glance. As well as his relatively short stature in comparison to other humans. He always wears his red scarf around his neck.

Education

Ari has studied at the Alfaeniara Academy since he was born, there he learned about the world and of magic. Ari quickly took to magic as if it was completely natural for him, resulting in being the top of his class in most practical magic-related subjects. However, all the other subjects were a challenge for him, for example, his combat prowess was far worse than his peers, and teachings in the realm of formal courtesy and the like dragged his grade to the ground.

Employment

Working at the Altar of Ceeyr in Donegrin, Ari performs a number of ceremonies for patrons, most notably wedding celebrations. Ari is the owner of the Temple and only has a single co-worker, Lander Lancaster, the wedding singer.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Ari managed to successfully graduate from the Alfaeniara Academy, which is notorious for having a dangerous final exam. Only the staff and the graduates know anything about the exam, as it is a closely guarded secret. This exam is only required for students who are undertaking any battle-oriented course.

Mental Trauma

There are many scars covering Ari's body from head to toe, but the biggest is the scars on his neck and chest. Ari attempts to hide these scars however he can, usually with his scarf for his neck, but whenever he is questioned about them he is evasive and comes up with a different story for them every time, though he's such a bad liar that almost everyone knows that it's something he doesn't wish to talk about.

Known Languages

Ari's first language is Common. He studied Elvish, Draconic, and Halfling in his own time until he was fluent enough to understand and speak the languages.

Motivation

Ari deeply treasures the bonds between friends and family, so he wishes to bring the happiness of companionship and camaraderie to as many as he can.

In this world, there are far too many unfortunate souls who live their lives completely alone. I would like to use my power to help those people, and show them the joy that others can bring to ones life.

Ari has a strong taste for berries and fruit, and a distaste for bacon, the famous delicacy of his home of Donegrin, much to his dismay.
Ari hates betrayal more than anything else, as it is the ultimate insult to the bonds of humanity. Because of this, Ari values truth and compassion above all else.
 

I dont't understand how someone could decieve those that are close to them, and I don't think I ever will.

Ari has a strong sense of self-control in many ways of life. From anger to greed. Ari also believes that kindness and mercy are humanity's salvation from a tormented existence, and as such practices in this way whenever he can.

Anger is an obstacle when creating bonds. Anger without transparency is a useless emotion, but when you voice your reasons to others, anger can become the first stepping stone to change.

Lander Lancaster - A human Bard who works alongside Ari at the Altar of Ceeyr. They've been working together for just over a year, and Ari much appreciates Lander's support.
Lana Lancaster - The sister to Lander Lancaster. Ari married her to her husband Alistair Alacaster. Through her, he met Lander.
Zeran Vey - An elf from Fenvalur forest who asked for the aid of Ari in his research. Zeran asked if he could store his research in one of the empty room in the Temple, Ari allowed him to as long as he returned with berries from the forest whenever he visited.

Honorary & Occupational Titles

Ari was never given a title despite his graduation of Aflaeniara, this has led to distrust in his services.

Wealth & Financial state

Ari makes all of his money from patrons to the Altar, however, he doesn't get many visitors, as there is another temple that is much more popular. Most of the coin he receives is used for the upkeep and renovation of the Altar. This money is also used to pay his co-worker Lander.

We've barely gotten one Ceremony a month since I opened the Temple up for business. Lander Lancaster doesn't ask for much in the way of payment for his services, it seems he goes out sometimes and makes his own money. I'm extremely fortunate that Mr. Lancaster appears to share my ideals of spreading joy to others, because I don't think I'd be able to keep living if he asked for a full wage.

Family Ties

Ari Havenstream was raised at Aflaeniara Academy, which doubles as an orphanage as well as a school for all kinds of trades. As such, Ari does not know any of his blood relatives.

Social Aptitude

Ari was never one to speak up in school, or anywhere else for that matter. As such he is soft-spoken and timid in his interactions with others. However, all that fades away when he performs marriage rites for his patrons, he is so professional when it comes to his job at the Altar that he is able to overcome his social ineptitude when he needs to.
