Ervalyr has no memory of the night she found herself in the snow with a dead man, though she believes she may have been the one who killed him. This guilt weighs heavily upon her shoulders, steering her towards accomplishing good acts so that she isn't crushed by it.

Motivation

Ervalyr's motivation is to learn what happened to her to make her what she is and try and save others who may be targeted by monsters. She has shown interest in the job investigating the Everfrost because she wishes to do good to relieve herself of her guilt.

Ervalyr is highly perceptive due to her time surviving in the wilderness alone. She is also an expert at hiding from prying eyes.
However, her physical build is quite weak, causing her trouble in times when strength is required. She is also quite uncharismatic, preferring to stay silent and let others do the discussions.
