Donegrin
"I can't be entirely sure if the people of Donegrin love their God or their bacon more." - Falmar the FarDonegrin is a small agricultural and logging town in the shadow of a large, now mostly unused Keep from the Third Ravalonian Expansion. The town is heavily religious, one of the first targets for conversion by the Ravalonian Empire during the Second Ravalonian Expansion and as such is ruled by clerics and paladins.

Government
Ruled by the priesthood of The Mother under the Ravalonian Empire, Donegrin was originally the hub for religious expansion in the West Country. These religious origins have remained, but no longer take the forefront of the city's culture since the West Country was mostly converted. It then became a military hub for the Third Ravalonian Expansion into Fenvalurian lands, but when that failed the castle was mostly abandoned. Management of the town fell to the local clergy who encouraged the population into intense religious fervour, but they preferred the ways of logging and pig herding. It is now under the leadership of Lady Viridia, a noble halfling cleric with a firm grip on the populous.
Defences
The huge keep looming over the town known as Mirador Keep was once a valuable military bastion, but now lies mostly undefended and unmanned. The Castellan is a dutiful Dwarven woman named Helgret Hammerstone.
Industry & Trade
Being so close to the Whispering Wood, Donegrin is a major logging town in the area. Besides lumberjacks and carpenters, pig farmers and butchers make up a large portion of the local industry with Donegrin bacon being renowned in the West Country for its' smoky and rich taste.
